The Mathematics, Natural Science, and Physics exam results have been announced.

The results of the Mathematics, Natural Science, and Physics exams have been officially announced. Students can download their exam reports and certificates from their NEO Science Olympiad Student Panels.

If a student needs to correct their name, this is possible. However, this change will not affect documents that have already been issued. The updated name will be used only for future documents and processes. To request a name correction, students must send an email including their student ID number and the correct full name. 

About Results and Evaluation

• Teachers who have students registered under their accounts can download individual student results via the Teacher Panel.
• The top 10 students have been announced on the official NEO Science Olympiad Instagram and Facebook accounts.
• Exam questions and answers will be published as Past Papers in the upcoming season.
• Detailed individual exam analysis (which questions were answered correctly or incorrectly) and official solutions cannot be provided.
• The top 3 students in each grade will receive medals and printed certificates by mail. Shipments will begin in April. An email will be sent to these students requesting their postal address.
• Students who are not in the top 3 but have won a GOLD medal will not receive a physical medal by mail and are not eligible for any Grand Final discount.
• Students who are not in the top 3 will not receive medals or printed certificates by mail. However, they can download their digital achievement certificates from their student panels. These certificates include a QR code for verification.
• If students have the same total score, the student who completed the exam faster and answered more questions correctly will be ranked higher. Students who achieved a full score (100 points) are ranked based on completion time only.
• A total of 123 students’ exams have been invalidated.
• The results of 18 students have been frozen until they provide an explanation. When these students log in, they will see the following message: "Your exam has been flagged by our monitoring system!"

If these students are confident that:

• their camera and screen sharing were enabled, and
• they did not violate any exam rules,

they may send an email to the NEO Team at info@neoscience.org to make an explanation.

Information About the Scoring Calculation

• The exam report provides details on the number of correct, incorrect, and unanswered (blank) questions, along with the total score and the time spent on the exam.
  
  Scoring System:
  - Correct answer: +4 points
  - Incorrect answer: –1 point
  - Blank answer: 0 points 
  

Tab Issue Deductions

• A 0.5-point deduction is applied each time a student opens another browser tab during the exam.
• No points were deducted for the first 4-tab issues. Students who had up to 4-tab issues did not lose any points.
• Point deductions started from the 5th tab issue onward. Additionally, the maximum total deduction due to tab issues was limited to 10 points.
• If you believe that your tab issues were caused by a technical problem, please email us to submit an appeal. We will review your camera recording.
• If camera recording was not enabled, objections cannot be evaluated.

Appeals

• Appeals must be submitted by February 23, 2026. Appeals submitted after this date will not be considered, and no changes will be made to the exam results.

About the NEO Grand Final New York Event

Applications for the NEO Grand Final New York will open next week.
NEO Grand Final Dates: July 27 – August 2, 2026 

Discounts

• The top 3 students in each grade will receive 75%, 50%, and 25% discounts, respectively. This information will be stated in the students’ exam reports.
• Students not ranked in the top 3, even if they have received a GOLD Medal, are not eligible for any discount.
• Grand Final discounts can be used for either the New York 2026 or the Orlando 2027 NEO Grand Final events.
• These discounts cannot be transferred to another participant, cannot be converted into cash, and cannot be carried forward to another year or any other MTO Grand Final event if the student is unable to attend.
• Appeals must be submitted by February 23, 2026. Appeals submitted after this date will not be considered, and no changes will be made to the exam results.

Application Options

There are three ways for students to apply for the Grand Final:

1. Join a group led by a teacher
2. Apply individually with a parent or family member
3. Flexy Package – Only for students who wish to attend the exam and award ceremony; accommodation and transfers are not included.

• Trial Exam Dates: January 20 - February 5, 2026 (The exam will refresh every 8 hours, and you can try again if needed.) At the end of the trial exam, only the number of correct and incorrect answers is shown. No detailed exam report or information about which questions were answered incorrectly is provided.
• Exam Date: February 7, 2026 - Saturday
• Exam Times:

NEO Trial Exams – October 6–7–8, 2025

We are excited to announce the NEO Science Olympiad Trial Exams for the following categories:
Chemistry – Biology – Mathematics – Natural Science – Physics

When: October 6–7–8, 2025
Time: Available 72 hours in GMT. (The exam will refresh every 8 hours, and you can try again if needed.)

These trial exams are designed to help you get ready for the main Olympiad exams.

Trial Exam Checklist
During the trial exam, make sure to check:

• Your internet connection is stable
• Your device is working properly
• Your camera is connected
• Screen sharing is enabled
• You can access and navigate the exam portal
• You have chosen the correct category
• You can manage your time effectively
• You get a sense of your current knowledge level

Good to know:

• The trial exams are completely FREE.
• Only students who have completed payment for their selected category will be able to access the trial exams.
• At the end of the trial exam, you will only see the number of correct and incorrect answers. The questions and your submitted answers will not be displayed.
• Please note that in the main exams, the number of correct and incorrect answers will not be shown.
