Towards the end of the 20th century, there were some frequently used expressions such as “Keeping up with the time” or “Adapting to the age of technology”. While these were once humanity’s goals, they have since evolved into “Using technology in the best possible way in daily life”. AI technology, which has advanced to an entirely new level in recent years, is being adopted by increasingly younger age groups. AI is no longer a field confined to engineers and software developers; it has become a tool that even primary school students can use for tasks like homework or language learning. In this digital age, where information is power and access to information is easy, we aim to introduce our participants to AI through the AI Prompt Challenge. How does one communicate with AI, what instructions should be given, and what results and data can be obtained? This AI challenge, which serves as an entry point, will open up new horizons for our participants. It’s not just about coding or technical skills; it’s about tapping into creativity and artistic thinking. By including art in the challenge, students are encouraged to see the beauty in technology and understand that innovation isn’t just about science and math - it’s also about imagination and expression. This blend of art and science in the AI prompt challenge helps students develop a more well-rounded approach to problem-solving, showing that creativity is just as important as technical knowledge in shaping the future. What awaits you in the AI Prompt Challenge? Students will be provided with a pre-prepared image. By observing this image, students will create prompts for AI, describing the objects and the overall concept depicted. The main goal for students will be to accurately describe attributes such as depth, size, symmetry, color, objects and overall composition. With this objective in mind, students will use AI to generate the closest or most similar image possible. The evaluation will be made in 2 groups. Group tasks differ based on the number of objects and details:Group 1 > Grades 6-7-8Group 2 > Grades 9-10-11-12 How to Prepare for the AI Prompt Challenge (Exam)? Participants in this competition can access a special “AI Challenge” menu in their NEO Student Panel to write prompts and generate images using the NEO AI platform. They can test with different prompts to see the results provided by AI for various definitions or requests. Each student will receive a maximum of 80 image production credits on the NEO AI platform before the exam. What is the Procedure for the NEO AI Prompt Challenge? > The NEO AI Prompt Challenge, like other challenges and categories, will be held online on a specific date and time (Please refer to calendar for exact date).> Exam duration is 1 hour.> During the exam, students will be allowed to produce a maximum of 20 images.> Students will SUBMIT one of the images they created via the same student panel.> The NEO jury will evaluate the submitted images.
